The Brewers Arms is a busy 17th century freehouse situated in the heart of South Petherton. There is an adjoining 40 seater restaurant serving traditional home cooked food and a friendly welcome is assured. Now under new ownership with our meat sourced from local butchers within 40 miles, we are developing our own sausages and offer a unique curry using freshly ground spices. We change our menu to relate to the changing seasons.

We get all our meat from our local butchers at Kilhallon and from top Cornish meat wholesaler, Robert Trevarthen. Our fish comes from Fish For Thought and is landed in Looe and our shellfish comes from Fowey Fish. You can be guaranteed that great seasonal local produce always features on our specials boards, be it Cornish new potatoes, Cornish asparagus or local game during the season. Real ales are essential to any country pub and the Crown is no exception. Our main real ales are all brewed by Sharps in Rock and Skinners in Truro.
