Try The Blazing Saddle; slow roasted pulled beef, smoked bacon, caramelised onion, grilled red pepper and mozzarella topped with sour cream and jalapeño chillies. Phew!

You’ll easily find us right in the heart of the city, on Bristol’s Harbourside. We’ve stripped the space right back to its bare bones. It’s a warehouse beauty with exposed (previously hidden) brick walls, a very old terracotta floor and striking metal supports. Our open kitchen spans almost the entire length of the building, showing the chefs working in unison to deliver a quick service. Drop by sit by the harbour and explore the ciders and order at the bar whenever you’re ready.

The Bakehouse has been a well established restaurant in the local community for the past 13 years, and we will try our utmost to keep it that way for locals and visitors for many years to come. We take pride in using local ingredients and produce, including Thornes fruit & veg, which is just up the road from us, Matthew Stevens fish in Newlyn and Trevarthens Cornish butchers.
Sourcing as many of their ingredients locally and from sustainable sources, the food will always be an eclectic mix of fresh and flavoursome food. During the daytime, a rich offering for breakfast and lunch is available to enjoy where of an evening Nathan, Michelle and their Chef Ashley, offer a 4-4-4-4 menu. This provides an offering of 4, starters, 4 mains, 4 desserts for 4 weeks, providing customers sufficient choice, yet a regular rotation of flavours and choice in line with the seasons as and when ingredients are at their best.
