Chynoweth farm is situated in the heart of Cornwall, located in the parish of St Allen near Shortlanesend, 3 miles from the city of Truro. Inspired by the natural movement of animals within a landscape, our chickens move every day to fresh diverse pastures. Feasting on herbs, grasses and insects gives them a diet that enhances the flavour and texture. We manage our birds in a way that promotes diversity in our pastures, the daily move means our chickens don't over pressure our resources, allowing for fast recovery and adding vital fertility back to the land.
Our chickens are seasonally reared at a slow pace, typically taking 12 weeks. Our birds are reared, harvested and processed here on the farm. Only then can we give a guarantee that we have done everything we can to give you a bird which has been reared and harvested in the most ethical manner. The birds are available frozen, either collected from here on the farm or we can deliver via courier. We currently offer frozen whole oven ready birds but plan to offer fresh chilled and chicken portions in the future.

Taste of Devon Butchers started in 2020 in a small butchery unit at Riverside Way and in 2022 expanded into a retail shop at 18 Fore Street, Seaton. We offer a wide range of top quality, fully traceable, local produce and we also deliver locally and nationally or you can click and collect. Matt and Terry are both born and bred in Devon with over 3 decades of butchery experience between them and you will always be greeted with friendly professionalism. Tamworth Pigs are the oldest pure breed of native pig in the British Isles and have a distinctive appearance due to their beautiful red-haired coats.
Tamworths are most at home living outside all year round being raised on large areas of pasture, where they can root around for all manner of tasty morsels. our pigs are bred to the highest of welfare standards in order to produce the most delicious pork with a distinctive taste.

A long held dream of our founder, Mark Bury, Eversfield began its story in 2002. Mark and his family spent two years planting over 30,000 trees and hundreds of miles of hedgerows, nurturing the land back to life before it was certified organic by the Soil Association in 2004.
Raising our own organic, grass-fed beef and lamb, we also work with a group of trusted organic farmers and small-batch producers to bring a taste of the south west to kitchens across the UK.

Top quality "gurt lush" lamb produced with passion and naked honesty in Somerset. Our lambs are only fed on grass and their mothers milk. We leave the lambs with their mothers until they naturally wean themselves to keep life stress free. Our pastures consist of over 20 types of mostly native grass, clovers and herbs, we allow our lambs to grow slowly as nature intended we never "push them on", this gives our lamb a naturally sweeter flavour, you'll find that our lamb REALLY tastes like lamb.

Scott and Ed worked together at a wholesale abattoir and butchers on and off over a 12 year period (between Scott’s travelling). They were looking to start a business together as they both had their own sideline businesses. Through their love of cooking, their passion for meat and customer service in 2018 The Meat Men was born.
The Meat Men had a mobile food stand which went to shows and events throughout England and Wales serving their own dry-aged beef in steak sandwiches, burgers, breakfast baps etc. The stand was called - The Somerset Steakhouse. In 2020 all events being cancelled due to COVID-19 The Meat Men knew they had to diversify their business. The business started getting messages from customers who from time to time used to buy fresh meat from the company saying that due to COVID and the start of lockdown they couldn’t get delivery slots from supermarkets and really didn’t want to venture out to the shops.
The Meat Men quickly realised they could offer their award winning meat to customers by advertising on social media and offering a free delivery service. Over the last 12 months since the first lockdown the business has grown from the 2 men cutting and delivering a few orders over a Wednesday and Thursday to now operating 6 days a week, 2 members of staff (both Lin & Andy plus Becky and Kristi), 2 delivery vehicles as well as a busy wholesale business supplying other butchers and trade customers.

The site has a unique Himalayan Salt ageing chamber which ensures that Buxton Butchers dry ages steaks truly are a cut above the rest. Quality is everything and our Master Butchers hand select the very highest grade of cuts to meet the requirements of our chefs and are happy to share their knowledge to help develop new menu ideas.
We’re a very carbon conscious company and understand that some of our customers are too. So we like to shout about our produce being locally sourced wherever possible and our supply chain is rigorously managed to ensure we have a steady flow to meet seasonal fluctuations.
