The Pilot Boat is a traditional Dorset pub set in the heart of the busy seaside town of Lyme Regis that is popular with locals and visitors alike. Produce is bought daily depending on seasonality, from what is offered by nearby farms, caught in the sea, grown in the garden, foraged, shot or available at good local suppliers. They take their drink seriously as well, and in line with their keep it local ethos, all of the cask ale is brewed by the award winning Palmers in Bridport brewery, just down the road. The wine list is well considered, sampling a good cross section of grape varieties that complement the menu.
