Port Gaverne is a tiny, peaceful cove on Cornwall's dramatic north coast, one headland away and a five minute walk from Port Isaac. In our restaurant, the menu changes every day but expect seasonal, coastal, no-ego food. Your dishes will be cooked simply and with integrity by a new team who have learnt their trade under some of the UK's top Michelin-star chefs. We are surrounded by the most incredible, fresh, abundant food here in Port Gaverne, so when we say it's as fresh as possible it means if we haven't gone fishing off the rocks when the mackerel are in, we've got it off Jim's boat 50 yards from our front door.
We have 15 rooms, all transformed into quality en-suites without losing their traditional quirky character.
Trehellas House has an AA Rosette restaurant located in the old house offering a delicious selection of superb, locally produced food, classically and simply cooked to bring out maximum flavour. We are very proud that the standard of our classical cooking has helped us to achieve a Gold award from Taste of the West. We are also recommended in the Michelin guide.
