Mr B's Ice Cream (Cornwall) Ltd

In 2007 Hayle welcomed its first ice cream parlour when Kirk Barden and his family opened Mr. B’s in Penpol Terrace selling a range of delicious Italian gelato using authentic Italian flavourings along with local fresh produce. The exciting flavours and delicious creamy ice cream became a firm favourite of locals and visitors and the business expanded to open a shop at Copperhouse. They also added a fantastic classic retro ice cream van that was available to serve the popular ice cream at weddings and events. In 2016 Kirk decided to retire and his family pursue different interests and they handed the reins over to local couple Nigel and Nikki Walters who were determined to ‘not to change a thing’ and have continued to produce the quality artisan ice cream that Mr B’s is famous for.
