Recently awarded Gold from the Taste of the West and Gold in the South West Tourism Awards for 'Pub of the Year' , the Cricket Inn has built an enviable reputation as one of the best foodie pubs in the South Hams. Local suppliers are at the heart of the Cricket Inn's menu, with crab, lobster, scallops, mackerel and bass all caught from the bay in front of the pub, bread baked in Salcombe, fruit juices from Buckfastleigh and eggs from Hallsands (to name just a few!). Guests can enjoy dining from their extensive menu, choosing delicacies from the Josper oven - an indoor barbeque that reaches up to 400 degrees - which cooks whole seafood, vegetables and steaks perfectly. The South West Coast Path runs straight past the inn's door so visitors and walk off their lunch along the coast or enjoy a stroll on the beach.
