Clare has always been passionate about making high-quality, delicious and well-presented foods. In 2013 she decided to invest in her passion and enrolled at the award-winning Ashburton's Chefs Academy where she graduated with a professional culinary diploma. After achieving her diploma, Clare started producing a few varieties of seasonal preserves as a treat for friends and family. The feedback was so overwhelmingly positive that, with a little encouragement from aforementioned friends and family, Clare was inspired to share her preserving prowess with the public. Every preserve Clare now makes is made with the same care and attention as when she was making them just for her loved ones. Each preserve is made in Clare's kitchen in the foothills of Dartmoor, using the traditional small-batch, open-pot method on the stove. She carefully sources the highest-quality ingredients, some of which she forages herself, and uses no artificial nasties. You can really taste the difference. Clare has already won lots of awards for her preserves but we're sure there will be many more to follow!
