We firmly believe that the best ingredients are seasonal and local!
We work closely with local Devon Farmers and follow the journey of the animal where it grazes its lifestyle and the farmers ethos of working with traditional local breeds which may not produce the biggest yield of meat but our traditional to Devon.
The majority of farmers have moved away from native breeds and moved towards large breeds creating bigger yields but sacrificing welfare and taste and jeopardising the existence of a lot of traditional local breeds. The farmers we work with share our ethos of maturing the animal on the hoof rather than on the hook.
We have forty five covers within our restaurant and we are looking to create the ultimate relaxed dining experience.
