Straightway Head House offers luxury bed and breakfast near Whimple in the heart of the East Devon countryside, between Exeter and Honiton. You will be welcomed with a Devon cream tea served in the library with homemade scones, strawberry jam and shortbread; Cally is a Cordon bleu trained cook with many years experience in the kitchen. We also provide a three course dinner upon request. We offer a varied Aga-cooked breakfast menu with homemade bread, preserves and granola. Only the best, locally sourced ingredients are used for our breakfasts including eggs from our neighbours' hens, sausages and black pudding made locally in Ottery St. Mary, and dry cured bacon from free range happy pigs that are reared jsut a few fields away.
The Swan is the oldest pub in Bampton and offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, alongside traditional pub food, fine wines and real ales all at affordable prices. The Swan is passionate about using local produce and create some real pub classics such as sausages and mash, cod and chips, pies, grilled rump steak and baguettes with a great choice of sweets to tempt. They have well-kept real ale on the hand pumps with guest ales and a keen selection of wines to suit all tastes. There are also two comfortable double rooms and a twin room for bed and breakfast at the premises.

Food is hugely important at Hartland Mill and is seen very much as part of the whole experience. Delicious fresh eggs are delivered from Stoke Leigh Farm just up the road. Sausages and bacon come from free-range saddleback (happy) pigs from the award-winning Pipers Farm in Cullompton. Tea and coffee is supplied by Miles in Porlock - they use loose-leaf tea in the dining room and bean to cup coffee. When possible they source regionally produced ingredients and make their own bread daily. The jam and marmalade is homemade too of course!
Evening meals are available here too - all the food is homemade and they are happy to discuss any dietary requirements - vegetarian, vegan, gluten or dairy free.

Our Head Chef, Nathan Givans, uses the finest local seafood, meat and vegetables, when available, to achieve exceptionally high standards of quality and fresh ingredients. Our famous restaurant menu has been found on chalkboards all around the restaurant areas for years, but recently we have decided to publish printed menus, as our restaurant menu is available throughout the pub. We are set in the heart of the quiet, coastal village of Perranuthnoe only 1½ miles east of Marazion, home to St. Michael’s Mount and only a minute from the South West Coast path. We are ideally situated to explore West Cornwall being only 10 miles from the Minack Theatre, St. Ives and Cornwall’s rugged North coast.
As well as award-wining food, fine wines, good local ales, ciders and a Cornish lager, we have three en-suite rooms available for bed and breakfast if you don’t fancy the drive home. Our menu utilises the excellent wealth of local produce available each season within close proximity to the inn. We are very child-friendly and offer a good, healthy children’s menu as well as smaller portions of some of our main menu dishes.
Dogs are also welcome in the bar and garden and even though we don’t offer a full menu for the dogs, we do have biscuits for them behind the bar. With a roaring fire in the winter and a south facing, enclosed terraced garden for the warmer months, the inn really is for all seasons.
