Our hand crafted, pies, pasties, sausage rolls, quiche and cakes are all Gluten and Wheat Free.  Baked to Taste began in 2002 when Paula Deacon, herself a coeliac, started to develop recipes in her kitchen at home, learning about the different flours available and their properties. In 2003, Paula and her brother Frederick took on premises in Honiton and started by selling fresh bread to local health food shops. Suppliers now, to loads of deli's, farm shops, health shops, the National Trust and cruise liners, Baked to Taste has new owners. In November 2021 the business was purchased by Simon and Suzi Bryon-Edmond from Chunk of Devon. Paula is still very much involved, but has taken a back step to spend more time with her family. Simon, Suzi and the team have a quest is to make gluten free products that are unrecognisable from their gluten full cousins, and be the best dedicated craft gluten free bakers in the country.
