The Digger's Rest is a traditional thatched village pub in the middle of the pretty village of Woodbury Salterton. We are particularly proud of our food which is freshly prepared and locally sourced. The menu changes to reflect seasonal availability and there is a special's board for rare treats.
The Ferryboat Inn dates back 300 years and is situated in the North Helford Passage on the waterfront. Surrounded by wooded banks and sloping fields, this is one of Cornwall's most breathtaking locations. Eating and drinking is central to The Ferryboat Inn, where we serve Wright Brothers seafood specialities alongside home-made pub classics. We have a 'farm to plate' philosophy meaning we want little or nothing to come between you and the produce we serve. Many of our oysters and shellfish are grown and harvested at the historic Duchy of Cornwall Oyster Farm (a short boat-ride up-river from the pub), and our fish, crabs and lobsters come from local day boats.
The Fortescue Inn is a traditional seaside pub with open fire and friendly staff. Our restaurant is open seven days a week. Our chef sources produce from Devon using local suppliers who pride themselves on only selling the best! The menu changes daily with a good choice of starters, mains and desserts. We can cater for all tastes, a small person's menu, fresh fish and tasty meat dishes, a different curry every other day, a chowder to take you to heaven and back. You can book the whole restaurant for private intimate parties, or join other regular customers.
We are a traditional Dorset roadside inn serving produce sourced as locally as possible. Our meat is free range, our fish and vegetables are sourced locally and are seasonal. All our dairy and cheese also comes from the South West.
Since early 2003 the Grove has been working in partnership with local farmers and producers to bring a real taste of Devon to their guests. They are confident that the hard work of those farmers and producers is evident in the quality food they produce at the Grove. Why not try the Individual Beef Wellington made with fully matured Devon beef from North Devon farms or their North Devon Fish Pie made with some of the best fish landed at Clovelly and Appledore. Or sample some of the Rare-breed Sausages from Highland Hogs with Buttered Mash and Grove-made Onion Gravy or the Wild Rabbit Stew. Then if you have room finish with one of the Grove-made puddings. To wash this all down the Grove offer every wine and champagne by the glass, a selection of West Country ales, ciders and a collection of 52 single malts too! Over the years the Grove has won many accolades and are proud to be recommended by the Which? Good Food Guide, CAMRA Good Beer Guide, Good Pub Guide, Alistair Sawday & the AA Pub Guide. We are confident that your visit will be one you'll enjoy and remember.
The Miners Sling is a family run 'Free House' in the small village of Sling, in the glorious Forest of Dean. We have a friendly and welcoming atmosphere whether you just stop for a relaxing drink in the bar or come to enjoy a delicious meal in our restaurant. Outside the restaurant is a large beer garden with a paved seating area and a large lawn for the more active. We try our best to source all food locally to save on food miles and to support local businesses. By using the local sources it also showcases what the Forest of Dean has to offer.
Here at The New Inn we feel that with our standards of customer service and high levels of locally sourced foods, including our own grown fruits, salads, vegetables and herbs, we offer something unique.

With its cosy dog friendly bars, huge roaring log fires and sloping beamed ceilings, The Old Inn & Restaurant is Cornwall’s highest Inn and is situated in the moorland village of St Breward. We are known for our delicious home-cooked food, including our legendary Moorland Mixed Grills, our very popular all-day Sunday Carvery with a selection of 4 freshly cooked meats and our daily-changing Specials Board of over 25 different freshly-prepared dishes. And the good news is that where possible, everything is made from only the very best, fresh local Cornish produce.
The Pilot Boat is a traditional Dorset pub set in the heart of the busy seaside town of Lyme Regis that is popular with locals and visitors alike. Produce is bought daily depending on seasonality, from what is offered by nearby farms, caught in the sea, grown in the garden, foraged, shot or available at good local suppliers. They take their drink seriously as well, and in line with their keep it local ethos, all of the cask ale is brewed by the award winning Palmers in Bridport brewery, just down the road. The wine list is well considered, sampling a good cross section of grape varieties that complement the menu.
