The White Row Bakery is supplied by the wonderful Hobbs House Bakery. Our selection of products is constantly growing and we strive to find new and exciting products for our customers. We are proud to supply local produce, especially those which the West Country is famous for, such as our excellent selection of locally produced cider and ice-cream.
Jon Thorner's began with one simple idea: to offer good food, locally sourced. Starting in 1976, Jon Thorner's was one of the region's very first farm shops and specialised in providing locally reared meat. In this time the business has grown from a single farm shop, to a franchise of butchery counters, a large range of hand made foods, supplying local produce wholesale and running a cafe. But one thing which has remained consistent throughout the years is the quality of our products and where we source them from. We have always focused on supporting local suppliers; Jon has developed an excellent reputation and is respected for his attitude towards local sourcing. We champion the best Somerset has to offer, all under one roof.

Three Bridges, Bradford-on-Tone, Taunton, Somerset, TA4 1ER
Sheppy’s Cider has been at Bradford-on-Tone since the family moved here in 1917, and the name and location have been a fixed point in the lives of local people and holiday makers ever since. Over the years we have welcomed thousands of visitors to our shop, tea room and museum.
Although we focus primarily on perfecting our cider, we know that it’s just as important to make sure that people can visit the very place that we produce the cider from. It helps connects our cider and our traditions to our customers.
We ferment our ciders using the naturally occurring wild yeast from the apples. We then mature some of them in oak vats, many of which have been in the family for almost 100 years. David Sheppy, our Master of Cider, has developed his skills over a lifetime blending dessert apples with cider varieties to give Sheppy's its distinctive, high quality taste.
In recent times we have created brand new production facilities, freeing our lovely old brick buildings for development. In April we opened the doors to Sheppy’s House of Cider- a bigger shop, café, bar, restaurant, and much more. We will also have a venue inside an old cider vat which will play host to one of our many tours.
We are a family run business producing traditional farmhouse cider and farm pressed apple juice, with locally harvested Somerset apples. The cider farm is a traditional working farm where you can visit and sample all our ciders before you buy. We also have a seventy seat restaurant that serves fresh, locally produced, home cooked food daily, and also caters for vegetarian and food allergies.
Sharpham Park was created in 2005 when Roger Saul, founder of the fashion label Mulberry, moved from the world of fashion into food. Spelt became his 'hero' product and the farm now produces a range of delicious products which are traceable from field to fork. Sharpham Park has its own dedicated organic spelt mill, opened in June 2007 by Her Royal Highness the Countess of Wessex. It has been certified by the Organic Farmers and Growers organisation. The miller stone grinds the grain to make flour in the traditional way. This method protects the grain's natural germ oils so it tastes better in comparison with flour that has been produced by the the modern method of steel roller milling which grinds the grain several times.
Sharpham Park's retail outlet is located in the Great House at Kilver Court in Shepton Mallet.
Our award winning products are brimming with West Country warmth. Since 1888 we have been tasting the worlds finest products for our blends. Every day we taste, roast and blend our products by the coast.
There are many things that makes Miles unique. Combining the modernity of today's state of the art coffee roasting and packing machinery, to the use of traditional methods for blending and tasting.
Perhaps the most interesting of all is the location. Based in the UK’s smallest National Park the stunning scenery inspires the Miles team daily and shines through all they do.
Miles Tea, Coffee and Hot Chocolate range can be found in Farm shops and a wide selection of supermarkets and convenience outlets across the West Country and beyond. Miles are the only brand in the UK to be listed in the top 5 for tea and coffee sections of ‘Best Brands’ magazine 2016. Miles work alongside Visit Somerset, Visit Exmoor, Somerset County Cricket Club, St Margaret’s Hospice and Somerset Day to name a few.
John Halls and Derek Miles still taste tea daily and they would personally invite you to try Miles Tea, Coffee and Heavenly Hot Chocolate.
Exmoor is a place where John, Derek and the Miles team call home.
