The home cooked menu of the day is prepared from locally produced high quality ingredients. It will be seasonally sensitive British home cooked fare, with influences from Europe and around the world. The menu of the day, as the name suggests, is a set option, so you will need to let us know in advance if you wish to dine.
Our sister properties, Pendragon Country Cottages, are ideally located as a base for enjoying North Cornwall. We offer two self contained cottages each with two bedrooms that will provide ideal accommodation for 4+ guests. The cottages can be interconnecting and can accommodate 8+ guests together.
Think of a classic holiday photo. Chances are it' a shot of your family at a table, smiles on faces, food on plates - and maybe a few drinks on the side! Family meals make a holiday, whether it's fish and chips by the sea, fine dining in a restaurant, or a steaming latte to go. We're excited to be introducing our new Surf bay restaurant and bar, as well as our very own Cooks of Perranporth fish and chip take away coming to Perran Sands. If that wasnt enough 2013 will see our new Funky Fish restaurant opening as well.
Port Gaverne is a tiny, peaceful cove on Cornwall's dramatic north coast, one headland away and a five minute walk from Port Isaac. In our restaurant, the menu changes every day but expect seasonal, coastal, no-ego food. Your dishes will be cooked simply and with integrity by a new team who have learnt their trade under some of the UK's top Michelin-star chefs. We are surrounded by the most incredible, fresh, abundant food here in Port Gaverne, so when we say it's as fresh as possible it means if we haven't gone fishing off the rocks when the mackerel are in, we've got it off Jim's boat 50 yards from our front door.
We have 15 rooms, all transformed into quality en-suites without losing their traditional quirky character.
This mid 19th century manor house enjoys an elevated position with terraced lawned gardens overlooking the beach at Porth near Nequay. It is now complemented by The Beaucliffes Restaurant. The Beach is a beachside boutique hotel with a seductive contemporary appeal. Beautiful rooms, stylish bar and restaurant all in a fabulous position overlooking Summerleaze Beach. The Beach also appears in The Good Hotel Guide, The Michelin Guide, The Sawdays Collection and has a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence. Classically trained under Sam Moody at Michelin Star Restaurant The Priory, Head Chef Joe Simmonds has a genuine passion for developing menus that use fresh local ingredients.
We are a family run business specialising in locally sourced products - both food and ales. All of our dishes are made from scratch by our team of chefs using locally sourced produce. We strive to give our customers an enjoyable and relaxing experience as if they were in their own local pub.
The Crown Inn - what better place to enjoy some great Cornish hospitality! We are so lucky to be located in Cornwall with all the benefits of the wonderful produce available on our doorstep. We get all our meat from our local butchers at Kilhallon and from top Cornish meat wholesaler, Robert Trevarthen. Our fish comes from Fish For Thought and is landed in Looe and our shellfish comes from Fowey Fish. You can be guaranteed that great seasonal local produce always features on our specials boards, be it Cornish new potatoes, Cornish asparagus or local game during the season. Real ales are essential to any country pub and the Crown is no exception. Our main real ales are all brewed by Sharps in Rock and Skinners in Truro.
The Ferryboat Inn dates back 300 years and is situated in the North Helford Passage on the waterfront. Surrounded by wooded banks and sloping fields, this is one of Cornwall's most breathtaking locations. Eating and drinking is central to The Ferryboat Inn, where we serve Wright Brothers seafood specialities alongside home-made pub classics. We have a 'farm to plate' philosophy meaning we want little or nothing to come between you and the produce we serve. Many of our oysters and shellfish are grown and harvested at the historic Duchy of Cornwall Oyster Farm (a short boat-ride up-river from the pub), and our fish, crabs and lobsters come from local day boats.
