We explore methods of working with nature, using plants to keep plants healthy with WFA (Wholesome Food Association) principles and practices.
South West Wine School was founded by Jonathan and Hayley Reynolds to provide first rate wine education across the region. Hayley has spent the last 20 years associated with the wine industry and has her WSET diploma. Jonathan shares her passion and is also WSET qualified. The South West Wine School brings together the best wine educators in the South West.

Bini Ludlow cooks authentic Indian cuisine, having learnt her skills and knowledge about spices from her mother and her extended family, many of whom still live in the Gujarat region of Western India.
With a starting budget of £200, Bini runs Sweet Cumin cookery school aimed at adults and young budding chefs to learn how to combine different spices to produce tasty authentic Indian food. Bini was listed in the Guardian as the Top Foodie Courses in the U.K 2016.
Bini has achieved the Taste of the West South West Winner of Best Local Food to Go 2015, has 11 Great Taste Awards (2013-2017) and a finalist for Delicious Magazine 2016.
Bini's award winning frozen ready meal curries are all gluten free, 9 dishes to choose from ( including vegan and vegetarian dishes) using the best ingredients sourced from the South West and are all cooked in her production kitchen in Somerset. She also caters for pubs and organisations who would like to serve authentic curry on their menus.

As a husband and wife team, Caron and Des work together at the brewery. Head Brewer Caron has the best palate and loves experimenting with the myriad of different hops and malts available. Des excels at the process and technology of brewing, and is best at drinking! There are now four beers in their range - Padstow Pilot, Padstow Pale Ale, Padstow IPA and Padstow Pride. The beers are out in local pubs as fast as they are being made, so significant expansion is planned with a new 10-barrel plant due to be installed in the Autumn.
Our brewery shop is open from 8am until 4pm (Monday to Friday) and 10am until 4pm on Saturdays. We also run tours that can be booked on our website.
Our Tasting Room and shop on Broad Street in Padstow Town centre is now open. Our full range of bottled craft ales are available to purchase in the shop as well as our cider, sparkling wine and Padstow Brewing Co. merchandise.
The shop doubles as a ‘Tasting Room’ where it is possible to try our beers in 1/3, 1/2 and pint measurements. At all times there will be two cask ales on as well as two kegs. For those wanting to spend some time sitting in and enjoying their drink there are also bar snacks and soft drinks available.
The upstairs area of our shop is available for tasting events, music evenings and private functions.

Sheppy’s Cider has been at Bradford-on-Tone since the family moved here in 1917, and the name and location have been a fixed point in the lives of local people and holiday makers ever since. Over the years we have welcomed thousands of visitors to our shop, tea room and museum.
Although we focus primarily on perfecting our cider, we know that it’s just as important to make sure that people can visit the very place that we produce the cider from. It helps connects our cider and our traditions to our customers.
We ferment our ciders using the naturally occurring wild yeast from the apples. We then mature some of them in oak vats, many of which have been in the family for almost 100 years. David Sheppy, our Master of Cider, has developed his skills over a lifetime blending dessert apples with cider varieties to give Sheppy's its distinctive, high quality taste.
In recent times we have created brand new production facilities, freeing our lovely old brick buildings for development. In April we opened the doors to Sheppy’s House of Cider- a bigger shop, café, bar, restaurant, and much more. We will also have a venue inside an old cider vat which will play host to one of our many tours.
Our beautiful distillery and bar is nestled in Island Street; the traditional boat building quarter of Salcombe, now also renowned for its growing arts scene. Come and join us for a drink and watch Salcombe Gin distillation in action on our beautiful 450L copper still Provident or admire the view over the water from our bar's balcony.
Our Gin School is the ultimate gin experience for the curious gin lover. At our outstanding distilling laboratory for adults, you will take charge of a beautiful mini copper pot to develop and distil your very own 70cl bottle of gin - learn the art of distilling gin, develop your unique gin recipe, our distiller will take you step by step through the fascinating distillation process and explain how to produce a delicious gin - you even get to personalise your own bottle to take home.
We make authentic, exciting and award winning mead in Armagh and Devon. Mead is a medium-sweet, clean and complex honey-wine made traditionally and sustainably with raw honey. Bottled still at 14%. It works well as a lighter alternative to dessert wine, paired with nuts ham and spiced mains, chilled on its own or warmed up and mulled.
When I started my catering company Hedgehog Pie in 1995 in London, little did I know that I would become so obsessed with perfecting my signature hand made chocolate cup pudding that it would lead to me launching a chocolate cookery school. A date to cook dinner for the Queen with chocolate cups on the menu was how it all started and I’ll tell you the story myself if you ask me!
After 20 years in the event catering world looking after clients in The House of Lords I have retired and now concentrate only on running my chocolate school.
The Chocolate Tart cookery school started in May 2007. Situated in a picturesque courtyard setting tucked away in Congresbury. Step into chocolate heaven! The aroma of cocoa wafts out to greet you as you enter into a beautiful working kitchen full of chocolate making equipment, ready for each student to master skills that will stay with them forever.

We have won over 22 Taste of the West Awards since entering the prestigious competition 6 years ago, including Gold for our Home made preserves which are only available from Cedrics. You won’t find us in any other cafes or farm shops.
We have Cider, local beers and cake also suitable for most coeliacs, making great local gifts.
