We are a family run business producing traditional farmhouse cider and farm pressed apple juice, with locally harvested Somerset apples. The cider farm is a traditional working farm where you can visit and sample all our ciders before you buy. We also have a seventy seat restaurant that serves fresh, locally produced, home cooked food daily, and also caters for vegetarian and food allergies.

Sheppy’s Cider has been at Bradford-on-Tone since the family moved here in 1917, and the name and location have been a fixed point in the lives of local people and holiday makers ever since. Over the years we have welcomed thousands of visitors to our shop, tea room and museum.
Although we focus primarily on perfecting our cider, we know that it’s just as important to make sure that people can visit the very place that we produce the cider from. It helps connects our cider and our traditions to our customers.
We ferment our ciders using the naturally occurring wild yeast from the apples. We then mature some of them in oak vats, many of which have been in the family for almost 100 years. David Sheppy, our Master of Cider, has developed his skills over a lifetime blending dessert apples with cider varieties to give Sheppy's its distinctive, high quality taste.
In recent times we have created brand new production facilities, freeing our lovely old brick buildings for development. In April we opened the doors to Sheppy’s House of Cider- a bigger shop, café, bar, restaurant, and much more. We will also have a venue inside an old cider vat which will play host to one of our many tours.

Situated perfectly in the foothills of the Quantocks, The Barn is the ideal location for that special occasion. The barn itself has had many uses over the years, traditionally it was a cattle milking barn and still boasts many original features that is still evident today in the newly opened and converted, 'Second Eleven Barn'. In more modern history it's been the home ground and the cricket club house for the Flying Geese Cricket Club. Since those early days, one of the barn's was converted into a successful restaurant.
Our menu changes seasonally and to include specials. Traditional Sunday Lunches - as well as other selected options from our main menu - are available from 11.45am until 5pm, pre-booking is essential. We always use fresh produce, when items are not available the menu is subject to change.

Teals is a new destination on the A303 - a fantastic place to eat, shop and discover local food and drink in Somerset. The food market is part deli, part health store, part snackstop and offers as much local as possible - you’ll find everything here from cupboard staples (where you can refill your own containers with inexpensive oats, mueslis, car snacks, nuts and rices) to an array of jams and local honeys, delicious granolas and Somerset cereals. There are oils, sauces and rubs; pasta, flour and eggs; juices and cordials and plenty of choice for vegans. You'll also find tasty and seasonal fresh produce, a deli counter offering local cheeses, pastries and salads, a butcher's counter and a bottle store.
The restaurant is light, airy and relaxed, with views out over the apple orchard and across the courtyard. Talented and creative cooks have free reign to work with the seasons, developing food that connects to the region and satisfies more than just your appetite. They work closely with the butchery and food market, making the most of what comes through their doors. There are takeaway options available too, with freshly made sandwiches, soups and salads from the deli counter, as well as a great selection of cakes and proper Barista made coffee.

The Old Tannery is a relaxed, informal restaurant and bar housed within the Red Brick Building, Glastonbury on the old site of the early 1900’s tanning factory, Morlands. We pride ourselves on supporting and championing as many local producers and suppliers as we can in delivering our fresh and seasonal menus across breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We aim to be as sustainable as we can across our operation from our choice of produce and suppliers to our recycling and nose-to-tail, zero waste philosophies in our kitchen.

He is committed to bringing you his 25 mile menu, meaning everything fresh is local too, with one exception; the seafood! This comes from the fish market in Brixham, Devon. Kitchen Danilo is designed to be a contemporary restaurant with traditional values. Serving fresh, local food with an Italian influence, we offer creative and aesthetically pleasing seating that allows for an intimate atmosphere in the cosiest corner of town!
