A foodie through and through and known for being ahead of the curve in all things gastronomique, Penny (aka Mrs Jones) has thrown her heart, soul, half her friends, family and contents of her own kitchen into this unique, delicious, fun, tasty, welcoming, quirky and quality Deli.
The business has grown to become an award winning, successful and well established one! With something on the menu to suit all tastes (gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, rare roast beef and seafood too) and with consistently excellent feedback from customers, Me and Mrs Jones is a welcoming place to meet friends and family or just sit quietly on your own with a cup of coffee, renowned for its excellent cuppas and fantastic food. A real asset to the local community in Wellswood, Torquay and the South West.
Opened in 2005, The Udder Farm Shop was the brainchild of Jane and Brian Down when they saw a lack of opportunity for buying local produce and few places for the local community to meet. Built from the ground up to their own specifications there is now a restaurant, deli, shop and butchery. All the beef or pork for sale in the farm shop or cooked in the restaurant is raised on Jane and Brian's own farm next door, or bought in from the local village. In fact, all the meats and products are sourced from the local area where feasible whether pork, biscuits, tea or paintings!
The Carter family, owners of Greendale Farm Shop, has been farming the East Devon countryside for more than five generations. A world away from the supermarkets, Greendale farm shop is bursting with fresh, locally-sourced produce. If we can’t grow it on our farm or catch it from our fishing boats, we buy from carefully chosen suppliers; it’s important that we offer only the best to our customers. With its wet fish counter, on-site butchers, fabulous Deli and well-stocked grocery department a visit to the farm shop is always worthwhile.
Established in 1978, Lavenders deli bakery has developed from an interest in high quality food. With a particular interest in cheese and cooked meats and all things Cornish from Pastie to pastries and so much more. The deli bakery and cafe all began with the idea that you could offer a wide range of products from cooked meats, local and foreign cheeses, freshly cooked pasties, pastries and cakes in a cafe setting where customers could enjoy the variety of delights on offer and thus Lavenders deli bakery was born.
