We stock our own lamb, beef, honey, free range eggs and homemade cakes along with local produce from Tiverton, Crediton and the West Country.
At THE RED RUBY SHOP we're passionate about beef, more specifically, RED RUBY DEVON BEEF.
Naturally reared and carefully grown by us, for you, in the heart of Devon we think our Red Ruby beef will give you a taste beyond your expectations, in fact PURE HEAVEN from DEVON!
All our beef is Red Ruby, hung for 4 weeks on the bone before being expertly butchered.
You can buy it from our farm shop, open Wednesday to Saturday, 9.30 to 5.30 and also from our stall on Crediton Farmers Market on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month. You can also have it delivered to your door, anywhere in the UK, fresh, not frozen, packed, labelled and ready for your freezer, or, if you can't wait, your dinner!
We also sell other delicious meats and products produced by our neighbours, such as free-range pork, poultry, eggs, lamb, and we make our own jams, chutneys, mustards and seasonings using our own and local ingredients.

Welcome to Jamaica Inn, high up on wild and beautiful Bodmin Moor and made world-famous by Daphne du Maurier's tale of smugglers, rogues and wreckers. A new BBC drama of Jamaica Inn was broadcast at Easter 2014.
This historic coaching house has welcomed weary travellers crossing Bodmin Moor for nearly 300 years. Full of legend, mystery, romance and even, according to folklore, the odd friendly spirit, the Inn continues to welcome guests to its 36 en suite bedrooms, award-winning restaurant, ‘olde worlde’ bars with great local ales and wines, its farm shop, souvenir shop and the fascinating Smugglers’ Museum where tales of wreckers, murderers and villains are brought wonderfully to life!
The Inn is easily reached being just beside the A30 at Bolventor, midway between Launceston and Bodmin. It is the perfect base for exploring the moor and, being close to the Cornwall and Devon border, it is also a great base for visiting almost anywhere in either county and still be back in time for dinner.
Our shop opened in 2000, originally just as an outlet to sell our own pork, since then it has expanded to include our popular café. Along with a wide selection of our pork, sausages, bacon and ham we also sell chicken and duck from Creedy Carver and beef from Dartmoor Farmers. The café has a limited number of indoor seats but plenty of outdoor tables. There is a children’s climbing frame, chickens, ducks and ponies to see and peddle tractors to play on, all situated within the enclosed environment of the old farm yard.
