We are a family run business producing traditional farmhouse cider and farm pressed apple juice, with locally harvested Somerset apples. The cider farm is a traditional working farm where you can visit and sample all our ciders before you buy. We also have a seventy seat restaurant that serves fresh, locally produced, home cooked food daily, and also caters for vegetarian and food allergies.
Located on the historical market square of Wells, our contemporary eatery and wine bar is located at the gateway to the Bishop’s palace. This grade II listed building has now been transformed into a stunning art deco interior, whilst retaining many of the original features. Today the Bishop’s Eye is a destination venue for those looking to enjoy locally sourced sharing platters of smoked fish, charcuterie and cheese, complemented by hand picked wines and bespoke cocktails.
One of Wells best kept secrets, we offer a relaxing ambience for those looking to unwind in comfort and style.
Enjoy refreshments within our beautiful interior or alfresco in the market square itself.
For bigger groups consider our unique private event space for up to 60 people, with space outside also available.
