Taste of the West launches South West Flavour Awards to celebrate hospitality and retail champions
The inaugural South West Flavour Awards have been launched by Taste of the West to celebrate the best of the thriving hospitality and retail businesses in the South West region. Formerly part of the Taste of the West Awards, the increasing popularity of the hospitality and retail award categories over recent years has led to the decision to launch a dedicated awards programme to celebrate quality and provenance within the South West hospitality and retail industries.
Early Launch for Taste of the West Product Awards 2012
The food and drink product awards for this year’s Taste of the West Awards has been launched at the Giving & Living Trade Show in Exeter, shifting the whole awards programme forward by three months to give producers an opportunity to maximise their awards over the key summer season. Producers across the South West region are now being encouraged to enter their products, with the coveted award winners’ logo being a recognised sign of quality and provenance across the country, helping to boost both awareness and sales for the winners.

SW Chef of the Year 2011 - The Results - Press Release
West Country chefs have claimed top honours at this year’s South West Chef of the Year 2011 competition, now in its 8th year.
